High School Peace Clubs
Since 2009 we have continued to work with this project and have now created 4 new peace clubs in different high schools, making eight clubs in total.
Today, principals and teachers continue to visit our Matongo office to ask if we can come and establish peace clubs at their schools, and the students remain enthusiastic and excited about the prospect of being active in their own community.
The week after the workshop took place, the Youth Ambassadors traveled to four different high schools in the area to set up peace clubs. The point was to instill the values of peace, brotherhood and togetherness in students while they are still young, and hope that they will pass on these ideas and values to their peers. The Youth Ambassadors are currently working with these students holding activities at their schools, speaking to other students about peace, and putting together awareness activities for the wider communities.

The football tournament held in May 2009 was a huge success with the final bringing out 2000+ spectators.

To ensure thay this project is a success, we require financial donations, possibly dontations for another football tournament, but we need the word to be spread!
